Can I make a reservation?
No, our concept is simple: first come, first served. We love the idea of spontaneity, and we hope you will too!

Can I book the Maelstrom for a private event?
Contact us by e-mail at info@maelstrom.cafe for more information. We offer private rentals on Sundays and Mondays under certain conditions.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes, you can purchase a gift card directly from Maelstrom. A perfect gift idea!

Do you still organize shows?
We always like to support the local scene, but shows are organized on an ad hoc basis. Follow us on our social networks to keep up to date with our events.

Café

Which roaster do you use?
We’re proud to serve coffee from Escape Coffee Roasters, an artisan roaster based in Montreal. What’s more, we regularly welcome guest roasters to our shelves.

Food

When is the kitchen open?
Our delicious brunches are served daily, Monday to Sunday, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. In the evening, the kitchen is open from Tuesday to Saturday, from 5 pm to 10 pm.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?
Yes, our menus include vegetarian and vegan options. Don’t hesitate to ask our team if you have any specific requirements!

What is the kitchen concept?
Our chef, Sarah Arab, gives pride of place to seasonal produce, carefully selected from local market gardeners with whom we work.

Do you offer classic cocktails?
Yes ! If we have the spirits to make the classic cocktail you want, we’ll be delighted to make it for you!

Do you have alcohol-free options?
Yes, we offer a menu of creative mocktails and non-alcoholic beers. There’s something for everyone!
